The CNW Tap Creek Branch

The layout included a row of scratch built houses. The following pictures show these houses and some steps in their construction.  Cutting out  the walls... Gluing the walls together... Adding windows... ...and view blocks... Followed by the roof... ...which is then painted. Finally, the house is weathered... Some more houses, in different variations on the same theme...

The previous posts holds the first set of photos of the layout, published on the original layout web page. I later published another set, being a kind of Grand Tour of the layout. These are all shown here, unfortunatly in no particular order. 😀
